In addition, if you want to fly-fish, this trip is perfectly geared for it! Just let your captain know so that he can bring fly rods and flies. You'll be fishing from the deck of an 22' Pathfinder bay boat, powered by a 150-HP, four-stroke Yamaha engine. She's kitted out with a Garmin fishfinder, live well, storage area, and a great casting deck for light tackle fishing. Your captain will provide everything you need for an awesome trip, including rods, reels, live bait, and tackle. Rafa is the man. He was on time, prepared, informative and knew how to attack tarpon. It was a slow day for the catching side of things but Rafa managed to get us on fish. My wife and I both landed a couple 4 to 5 lb fish and we hooked a bigger fish (12 to 15lb) that gave us a jumping show but came unhooked at the boat. We got to meet Bob the pelican as an added treat. A great day and I can confidently refer Rafa as a good man to fish with
