Hey Captain Roy here with another Red Snapper report. Our Federal Season continues to produce hogs each and every trip. The bigger fish have actually been caught at 70-100ft of water suspended above the wrecks. We have been hammering quick limits with cut bait and live piggy perch. Port isabel and south padre island we've been having good catches of black drum, red fish, and flounder with a few snook in south bay on live bait and top water lures.

Fishing Report: The bay fishing has been tougher lately than past years. Catching lots of speckled trout in the 16 inch range. September 1 the regulations are supposed to go back to old regulations of 5 per person and 15 inch minimum. Early September will be a good time to come down here to South Padre and catch speckled trout on artificial plastics. Catching some redfish in deeper water on fresh cut bait. Black drum are moving up the channels and deeper water.

Trout fish has continued to be great, on live and artificial baits still seeing some big trout. We are starting to see some reds a flounder are starting to be caught as well it's been a heck of a start to this season.
