This time of year in Virginia Beach there is still great fishing to be had with offshore deep dropping and swordfishing along with some tuna & wahoo around. Been a bit since last report, ran a few offshore trips before I left for Ohio. Had Wounded Warrior Project bring 10 vets down and ran them on 3 boats. Great day, lots of enjoyment but the troll bite was slow, we had a blast swimming and horse assin around...

Been a bit since last report, ran a few offshore trips before I left for Ohio. Had Wounded Warrior Project bring 10 vets down and ran them on 3 boats. Great day, lots of enjoyment but the troll bite was slow, we had a blast swimming and horse assin around at the end of the day. Next day ran offshore, trolled up 37 small blackfin, landed 2 out of 3 wahoo as well. Also had a trip we did some sea bass and amberjack fishing, it's all a blur so not sure what day was what, but it's been fun!!! The drum fishing has been great at night as well and that should stay solid through Sept into Oct.

Lately in Va Beach the offshore fishing has been Marlin, Wahoo & Mahi soon the Yellowfin Tuna will make their fall showing!

Cobia fishing is in full swing. Fish are starting to stage up in their late summer patterns and they are snapping. Limits of cobia almost every trip and it should only get better from here.
