As things change to our Midsomer patterns. It’s all about the availability of the bait. That drives the fish bite. When we get the strong outgoing tides near the new and full moon, pass crabs are flushing out of Tampa Bay in big numbers. This is one of our favorite scenarios to catch Tarpon. It concentrates the fish and they are focused on those little crabs.

We are still seeing our share of Snook. And redfish the over slot speckled trout have moved out to the edge of the grass flats and have been super cooperative anytime the tide is moving.
The offshore bite has been steady with mahi and tuna. Reef bite it hot right now catching yellowtail and grouper. Inshore bite has slowed down a bit with this heat wave.

Fishing in Key West has been good lately. As the summer rolls in the snappers are spawning and yellowtail mutton and mangy's have been eating well along the reefs. Dolphin have been showing up but not in great numbers as of yet. Just a few big ones here and there and plenty of tiny ones. Hoping for that to turn into bigger fish soon.

Key West has had perfectly calm summer camp conditions with lots of sargasso grass to be found that is holding a lot of Mahi-Mahi. You can pretty much count on filling the box with some nice fish on 8 or 6 hour offshore trip. The current hasn't been terrible so we've been able to do some really good deep dropping although snowy grouper was closed early. We're still picking up a lot of good blue tiles. With these really, really warm and calm conditions we've been doing a lot of of Lionfish diving. Folks have really been able to fill up on them. I want to remind everybody too. They were only six weeks away from the opening of lobster season on August 6! Spots are filling up so book soon if you wanna get out and get your limit of lobsters

Jamie was fantastic and very knowledgeable. He knew of all the places where the tarpon bonefish and barracudas would be. My wife and I had an amazing time and would definitely book with him again. Thanks for a great day!
He Knows where fish are and will get you opportunities to catch em. Very knowledgeable about his craft and puts in the time to get you shots at your target species!
Captain Joel (and first mate Sean) were great! They were warm and welcoming right off the bat! With their help, we caught tuna and mahi and had a great time. We were out in some rough waters and Captain Joel made us all feel at ease with his calm demeanor and skilled driving. Appreciated them preparing all our catch into fillets and steaks. Awesome time!
Had a great experience with John!! Put me on a great Tarpon!! Was a bucket list item for me!!! He is very knowledgeable and a great guy!!! Really enjoyed fishing with him!
Highly recommend fishing with him 👍👍
We booked a fishing charter for my husband 60th birthday, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip!
Kevin and Max were absolutely awesome!
Friendly knowledgeable, professional and committed to making sure everyone had a great time. They put us on the fish and we wound up catching a barracuda and a tuna, which made the day that much more exciting.
The best part was bringing our fresh tuna to Kaya restaurant where they prepared it three different ways. It was an incredible experience from start to finish.
If you are considering a fishing charter, we highly recommend Captain Experiences and especially Kevin and Max. Thank you for making my husband 60th birthday so special. Looking forward to doing this again!
We had an absolute blast! Justin went way out of his way to make sure it was a perfect trip. Conditions were tough, but we still saw lots of sites and caught quite a few fish. Will definitely be coming back.
