With the fall season upon us, the heat has broken and the weather is nice. We are getting a steady catch of Speckled Seatrout of nice size. We are also catching the juvenile Tarpon around the same areas. The Snook are biting pretty good you just have to get them to the boat before the sharks can get them. Overall, the keys are pretty quiet as far as tourist go, so we have lots of fishing grounds that are virtually private to us this time of year.

Calm seas have left us with great opportunities on the reef , wrecks and off shore . The yellowtail Vite had been pretty good with several flags caught along with some other species like trigger fish , cero mackerel and our favorite yellow Jack .
Off shore mahi has been hit or miss but when we hit we managed multiple keeper fish and occasional heavy lifter and gaffers . Tunas have been active at the humps in addition to some great amber Jack bites . Overall it has been a great summer so far and it's only getting better .

Ken Morris and son Henry, came down for a morning of fishing in the back country near Flamingo in Everglades National Park. Managed several snook and redfish. Was a great morning for sure!

Capt GW had the day off so what does he do? Takes the family out for a quick snook trip. Landed 4 of 6 snook in about 45 minutes of fishing before the girls all decided it was time for ice cream at Flamingo! Weather is hot but the fishing

The trip was as much as we hoped for…good weather, great crew, and some fish to be cooked at a local restaurant. Capt. Ron was a true professional. He called me the morning of our departure to ensure we were still interested in the fishing trip since the weather was not fantastic (high winds). He provided details about the length of time to travel to/from the fishing spot and conditions while fishing. When we arrived (earlier than scheduled departure time) he was ready and willing to get started early. He put us on the fish and showed us how to cast and catch. We caught so may fish we could not take time to take pictures (except the few attached). It was an awesome experience and hope to book with Ron next time we are in Islamorada. 10 thumbs up!!

Took a trip out with my dad and we had a fantastic time. Captain Ken put us right on the fish throughout the entire day with ease. We were able to catch multiple species of fish steadily throughout the entire day without any lapse. In addition to catching big fish, we were able to see a nice variety of wildlife (dolphins, sharks, osprey, saltwater crocs, numerous species of birds). I would highly recommend booking a full day trip with Captain Ken. You will catch high quality fish and have a very pleasant day.
