Stillhouse Hollow continues to kick out good numbers and some giant bass! If it’s numbers you’re after, chasing the nomadic schools of bass offshore are the way to go. Use forward facing sonar to locate these schools and then cast small weightless soft plastic jerkbaits at them fished quickly across the surface. For big bass, fish the shallows with topwater lures like the River2Sea Rover!

Stillhouse Hollow: We are averaging 30 bass on slower trips and over 60 on the good ones! Targeting bass over shallow vegetation with various topwater lures and swimbaits will do well for larger bass during the early morning and late evening hours. For numbers, we are targeting huge schools of nomadic offshore bass that are roaming open water in search of baitfish. We are locating these schools with forward facing sonar and then catching them with weightless soft plastic jerkbaits fished quickly across the surface. These schools are suspended over water that is anywhere from 25 to over 100 ft

Stillhouse Hollow: We are doing great on numbers of bass with the occasional big one. Our primary strategy has been to target nomadic schools of bass offshore in open water. Once we find them, we are catching them on a small, weightless soft plastic jerkbait. We are also finding success by using drop shot rigged finesse worms in submerged vegetation in 8-20 ft of water.

Fishing has been really good! Catching schooling fish in the morning on top waters and swim baits. As the sun gets higher im moving to the outside grass line with drop shots and shakey heads. Been producing very good numbers and decent quality!

Caught two Saturday..... mainly saw gar and carp. A few smallmouth buffalos. Not many hungry bass. But the carp are on right now and the clarity is super good. Flows seems around 60-120cfs and it gettin the mossy areas a breathe of fresh air. So wading looks like the move.

Fishing has been incredible! Fish have moved to a mostly post spawn pattern. We have been catching them on main lake flats, primary and secondary points. On the flats I've been throwing swim baits and spinner baits. Moving to the points I drag the bottom with a drop shot or shakey head.

Fishing has been great on the bite during mid and ending of tides. Keepers other than black drum have been a hit or miss. The schooling size reds are plentiful. Small trout running the shallows, larger trout are staying deep still along the channel. Fish have been hitting live and dead shrimp and mid water plastics

I took out Logan and his son Alex on Lake Travis. Man did we have some fun. Each angler caught and released 6 Large Mouth Bass. Logan’s son Alex caught an impressive 8.5 Lb bass all on his own.

Earlier this month I had a charter with a lovely newly married couple. The husband wanted to surprise his wife with a fishing trip.
After speaking with him and knowing that this is a surprise for his lovely wife, I wanted to do something extra special for them. I went ahead and bought flowers , and have them specially delivered...

To me, it’s always about making memories. And I’m sure that day there’s a memory that’s going to be with them for the rest of your life and that is what is important to me.

My son and I had a great time. We caught a crazy amount of bass. I can’t speak highly enough of Richard our guide and how Derek was great with communication. Will definitely book them again.
Great day on the water with Ander and my friend Vance. I got to keep two of the bigger fish that I caught to eat! They tasted great with some blackening spices and butter. I'll recommend Ander to anyone looking to have a wonderful time fishing!
We had an excellent trip with Jake. He’s very knowledgeable and patient. Two of our three are brand new to fishing and he was incredibly helpful and made it fun. He was able to help the group catch a ton of fish, including personal bests for the more experienced angler in our group. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. Thanks Jake!
Had an awesome day on the water with Ray. Super experienced guide that took us to really cool spots where we caught Bass on several different techniques. Really nice boat and great fishing gear provided. Can only recommend!
