Wow, wow and wow again the bay system has turned on higher water conditions have brought in bait from offshore Glass minnows ballyhoo mullet schools of them are all over the Bay system right now. The bay is energized with big trout and redfish. A lot of big bull redfish are in the Bay system right now. The next two weeks is prime time to go fishing. See less

With the cooler weather that has moved in the last couple weeks little bit of rain that we've had down here fishing has been red, hot catching trout on top Waters and also oversize redfish Croaker are working also

Drum and reds have been schooling up tight. Look for signs of dirty or off colored water in clear area around shorelines or small drop offs. Live shrimp under or popping cork or cut mullet and skip Jack have been the key. Trout bite has been good with croaker when...

Live shrimp under or popping cork or cut mullet and skip Jack have been the key.
Trout bite has been good with croaker when you can find a good concentration of slot trout.

On September 30th, a group of four went out on a charter to Baffin Bay. The goal of the trip was to catch some redfish, trout, and drum. We started fishing right away and had some success catching redfish. After a few hours, we had landed quite a few redfish....

On September 30th, a group of four went out on a charter to Baffin Bay. The goal of the trip was to catch some redfish, trout, and drum.
We started fishing right away and had some success catching redfish. After a few hours, we had landed quite a few redfish. We also caught a few trout and drum while we were out.
Unfortunately, while we were out, heavy rain storms chased us away from Baffin Bay. We took the opportunity to take a break and wait for the rain to pass.
Once the rain had passed, we returned to Baffin Bay and were able to finish up our redfish limit. We were back to weigh in by noon.
All in all, our charter was a success. Despite the heavy rain storms, we were able to get our redfish limit and get back to weigh in on time. We look forward to our next charter and the chance to catch even more fish.
