Triple Tail are normally pretty rare to find in Galveston Bay. However, after setting apart a day to chase the elusive fish we managed to find a giant! The fish tipped the scales at 25lbs. It was by far the biggest one I have ever seen. Congrats to my customer...

Got to fish a fun tournament with some of my good clients. Thankfully the weather cooperated and we were able to sweep the board winning biggest trout, flounder and redfish. The fishing is still hot!

Big trout and even bigger smiles. The bite was early and on fire. We were able to haul in a four person limit of trout in less than an hour. My group had a blast on the water and took home some delicious fish.

Fishing really hot right now! Nice seas for next week and opening of Amberjack season August 1st so fishing really going pick up. I still have lot days open in August!

The summer fishing has been very good, with lots of tailing fish. At least as long as the flats are quiet, plan on an earlier than normal start and finish (same time on the water) to avoid the afternoon heat. However the coastal winds keep it cooler than inland Texas.
