The fishing here has been pretty steady this past month. Redfish, black snapper, flounder, trout and mackerel have been plentiful. Offshore fishing has been great whenever we can get out there!

The weather this time of the year is very moody, but the fish are still biting. there’s plenty of vermilion snapper and white snapper to be found. In the deep water, grouper and tile fish doing pretty good as well, and the tuna fishing is about to get red hot.

Redfish are starting to show up in the area. As long as the weather stays warm, the Spanish mackerel with be abundant. Mangrove snapper have been plentiful and have been very hungry. Fishing is good in Orange Beach right now.

The spanish mackerel , jack crevalle, and mangrove snapper have been caught inshore and a slight cool front just cooled the Temps down for us. We've caught big amberjack, mingos and Spanish mackerel offshore as well!

It's fall time and the inshore bite is heating up. In the bays we are still catching some great Spanish mackerel floating live shrimp with about a 1/2 ounce Carolina rig.
Inshore, the trout and redfish are hitting suspending jerk-baits and plastics such as paddle tails or curly tails.
Offshore, it's game on for big schools of skipjacks and Bonita boiling up. Look for any type of floating cover and you'll find schools of Mahi and triple tails swimming around it.
Now is the time to get those trolling plugs out and search for those trophy fish such as Mahi,...

Hey man, the inshore fishing has been heating up as the water cools down. A lot of redfish, mangrove snapper, and a few flounder mixed in. The offshore bite has stayed consistent through the past few weeks with triggerfish, vermillion snapper, and amberjack

Late summer/early fall fishing is starting to heat up. Getting a weather window to make the trip out has been a challenge. However, when able to get offshore, we are catching a variety of species with the second half of trigger fish season open and now Amberjack opening back, I expect a lot of great offshore catches over the next few weeks. Deep drop fishing for vermillion snapper, porgies, and various grouper species has been on fire. For those who like our top water action, the waters have been boiling with skipjacks and Mahi. Blake accommodated our location by coming 30 minutes closer to Navarre, great start. We fought some wind but overall had a great afternoon. Blake was very knowledgeable and courteous to my two young boys, which for me ensures he’ll get our business again. The highlight of the day was our rescue of a pelican wrapped up in fishing line, absolutely amazing to see and watch Blake in his element, saving wildlife. A hands on miracle!
Captain Clay was very helpful and informational throughout our trip. We went on a 4 hour inshore shark and big game trip, and he had a blast. We will definitely be coming back!
Had a great time. Captain Tim and Captain Trey were amazing. Will definitely look into booking with them again. Already looking to plan a bow fishing trip with them.
My experience with Captain James was phenomenal! If you want a fishing trip that doesn’t feel like a fishing trip, but more like a hang with some friends you haven’t seen for a bit while you’re fishing, this is the one for you. Very helpful for our inexperienced fishers, and still had plenty of knowledge to go around for the experienced ones. Anytime I go charter fishing, I will be exclusively using Captain James!
We just had the best day of our vacation. Captain James was a delight!!! He was super courteous, taking care of any needs we had. He offered up drinks and snacks as well as knowledge and a bit of history on Fort Pickens. WE HAD A BLAST! Thank you Captain James, you are much appreciated and we will see you again the next time around!
Amazing time! After picking us up from being double booked elsewhere, then after a ride that was cancelled due to mechanical issues, and having to work around weather and conference schedules... he & his deckhand, Vic, made up for the chaos! Energetic, good music, good convo on downtime. Safe ride out, took us where we were sure to catch something after all the crazy and we did!!! Bait was always on the hook, great instruction & kind with pointers! Got us back safely and timed it perfect with the rain! HIGHLY recommend!
We went out with Daniel who was a great guide! He put us onto fish very quickly and we caught a lot of fish. Daniel was very knowledgeable and I would certainly recommend him for a fishing trip.
