Blackfin tuna have been thick out at the ledge. Spinning rods is my go-to tackle in targeting them with live bait. Wahoo have been hit or miss.

The fall inshore fishing is really heating up!The bull reds are staging at the inlets and jetties for their annual spawn and will readily take live or fresh cut mullet. The flats fishing has been great and will only get better as the mullet and shrimp begin to leave with the cooling water. The bait of choice has been live finger mullet. The speckled trout bite has been good on live shrimp and artificials. Look for the trout to really bunch up through November and December. The best fishing of the year is the next couple of months. Get out there!

September is the month to remember. Sheepshead, flounder, and trout are gonna be looking to feed now that water temp is slowly dropping. Always look for moving water and depth with structure around. I personally go during the low tide and look for areas that has both and come back during the high tide and set up for the stopping tide. Usually i do the best the first three hours of the dropping tide. I've found that smaller baits do well such as mud minnows and finger mullet. September usually has slot if rain so
if the water looks cloudy from sunshine the run off use finger mullet. Finger mullet can be seen easier than mud minnows, they are white and not dark like the mud minnows. With using shrimp, one also noticed if you use large shrimp that they too can be seen easier and it can keep the trash fish away due to the size but not always. Popping corks will be starting their way back into my tackle box as well. Along with artificial baits such as the Vudu shrimp. Con't forget your Pro Cure and please don't over do the amount needed. It can and will ruin not only the color but also the dexterity of the bait.

Hayden did a great job making us feel comfortable, helping teach us, and was a pleasure to be around. We had a tough day out there, to no fault of Hayden. He was a true professional when we havi g trouble getting bites and did a great job getting us to other locations.

We had a fantastic experience fishing with Captain David. He was extremely personable, he had great communication and was very knowledgeable about the area. He was clear on what the plan for the day was and was quick to adapt to changing conditions. Captain David put us on the fish and helped create a memorable experience! We will definitely use him again on our next visit.

We had an amazing 3-hour inshore fishing trip Easter morning with Captain Carlos! From start to finish, he was punctual, communicative, and incredibly accommodating, keeping us informed with helpful texts and making everything easy. It was just me, my 32-year-old son, and my 18-year-old daughter, and he truly made the experience special for each of us. He was patient, energetic, and so friendly, never once showing frustration, just making sure we were all having a great time. It was a perfect outing, and we couldn’t have asked for a better captain. We will book with Carlo again in the future! Highly recommend!

Brain was a great Captain. He was very knowledgeable of the area, put us on some great fish. He was really good for having four teenage boys on his boat. We will use them again.

We had an awesome time fishing Charleston with Capt. Chris. Chris, Ronnie, and Kendra were super communicative leading up to the trip, and were straight with fishing conditions (high tide, full moon, etc.). We had a tight window and they made it work. While the fishing was slow, Chris gunned it to a number of spots up the rivers, out to Fort Sumter, and even out to the jetties. He was super outgoing the whole time sharing stories about the area and history of the forts, and cracking some hilarious jokes. Thanks Chris, Ronnie, and Kendra, we'll be back!

We had an epic offseason trip with Matt down in Charleston. We were in town for a wedding and had a tight morning slot — Matt was able to accommodate and was super upfront with the fact that the fishing hadn't yet heated up in Feb. We hit a number of spots but given the cold front and it being high tide, didn't have much luck. The Twin Vee cat hull is super smooth and gets you there fast and dry, and it's totally tricked out with trolling motor, restroom and all. Thanks Matt, will be back!
