Fished only for flounder Saturday. Found them laying up in shallow water at the mouth of bayous , drains and channels.
The front this week should get them going even better. Its time to box Flounder before the 'Flounder Shutdown' Nov 1 - Dec 15.

Galveston complex is getting ready to be red hot for fishing, Galveston jetties still holding lots of oversized redfish using cut bait on the bottom. West bay is starting to have some birds working over live shrimp, lots of sand trouts and a few specks under birds. East bay is holding lots of specks and a few redfish using live shrimp. The upper Galveston bay a few redfish and sheep heads holding around the rocks off of the channel. Water temperature is 77 degrees.

It been pretty much a red fish rodeo the last 2 weeks. High tides have pushed the red fish deep into the marsh. Live shrimp under a popping cork has bee been the best producer. However TopWater lures and paddle tail jigs have also taken there share of nice slot and upper slot fish.

The weather forecast ended up being way off, and we were dealing with 3–4 foot swells, but that didn’t stop him from putting us on the trout. His experience and determination really showed, and he worked hard to make sure we had a successful day on the water. I took my three boys, and every one of us had an incredible time. The boat was clean, comfortable, and handled the rough conditions with ease. Captain Anthony was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and made the entire trip enjoyable from start to finish. If you’re looking for a captain who knows how to find fish even when the conditions aren’t ideal, I highly recommend booking with Captain Anthony. We’ll definitely be back!
