Fishing has been awesome in Moses lake lately. Very good jack crevalle, alligator gar and drum bite. Trout and redfish have been hit or miss With the occasional big trout being caught

Met Dean and Clay at 6 a.m. and headed out into the bay. Lots of storms and wind bouncing around today. First 2 stops didnt produce anything. 3rd spot, pulled 1 16” trout off of it. Wasn’t long til we moved again. After a long ride we landed on a spot and caught our trout, a 19” redfish and a couple of puppy drum. It wasn't too bad of a day considering tough conditions.

Catching lots of trout wading the shorelines of East and West Galveston Bay. Getting a few on topwaters, but most bites are on soft plastics (Down South Lures in color "Pink Flamingo").

What a fabulous trip! Captain Hightower was one of the best captains we've had. Very experienced and did everything to make sure we had a great time and caught a lot of fish! Captain was extremely experienced and knew the waters well, but we really enjoyed his company, as he was just a fun and interesting guide to be spending an afternoon with! Captain Blake has some wonderful guides on his team.
