About Your Trip

Adventure through the West Bay, East Bay, and Trinity Bay with Captain Ralph, a highly touted guide with 40+ years of fishing experience! Stay on the lookout for Redfish, Speckled Trout, and Flounder, three of Texas’ most sought-after game fish. You can choose between a 4, 6, and 8-hour trip, depending on how much fishing you want to do in one day. It should be smooth sailing as you navigate the bays in search of the rock piles and jetties where you can find these delicious inshore fish.

Captain Ralph can fit up to 6 people on the spacious deck of his 26' center console, so bring your family and friends along for the adventure. The vessel is powered by a 350hp Suzuki engine, which will speed you around the bay complex. You will be fishing with light tackle and live bait stored in the live bait well. There is also a cooler on board where you can store your catch during the trip. You should bring a cooler in your car though to keep the fish fresh on the drive home.

Besides a cooler, all you need to bring are some snacks, a valid Texas fishing license, and some good company! Captain Ralph provides all the rods, reels, live bait, and tackle. Be sure to wear appropriate clothing and check the weather in the days before your trip. A hat and sunblock are always a good idea, so you don't get too crispy out on the water.

We had a great experience using Ralph's guiding service. Our guide, Bo, showed off his decades of experience out on the water, and took us to some of Galveston Bay's best hot spots. The fish were biting all day, and we managed to catch a couple of good-sized trout. Using Captain made the whole process remarkably easy - we showed up, found Bo, scanned the QR code that was emailed to us, and were on our way. Bo even cleaned and filleted the trout for us after the trip. We'll be using Ralph's guides again, and will certainly be using Captain Experiences for any future adventure bookings.

My name is Lonnie and I booked a trip with Captain Experiences. A simple 4 Hour fishing tour out of Galveston Texas. It was set up and ready to go I received an email on the morning of the trip saying everything was good to go. We drove 3 hours to the location that was provided. We arrived and waited until after 6:00 AM. Nobody ever showed up. I called the only phone number provided by Captain Experiences nobody answered. Finally we found the Captains phone number on Facebook and called him. He let us know that the trip was canceled yesterday and I ask why I was not notified at all? A simple text-email-phone call could have changed everything for my family and I. My suggestion to Captain Experiences is give everyone the Captains information so the trip can be verified the day before. Sorry I would not recommend this company to anyone!
