Cobia
In like a lion out like a lamb, the month of March is certainly living up to its reputation. We have had water temperatures sore into the 80s, then right back down into the 60s with the numerous fronts we have had. Cooler water means deeper areas for the snook, trout, and redfish inshore and spawning sheepshead and snapper on our Tampa Bay rock piles. With some site fishing for Cobia on the calm days tomorrow we're heading out to the Gulf of America for a little bottom fishing and to see if the kingfish are here yet. Let's get you booked in for some unforgettable memories and another great Captain's experience.

Cobia
The March rush is here and we're fishing hard every day. We're on our transition into spring and good things are happening both inshore and offshore. Water temps have been on the rise which has led to increased activity with numerous different species. The bite with live pilchards has been picking up nicely in the backcountry. Snook, Redfish and jacks have been steady on all of our trips back there. There have some still been some winter time fish hanging around on the cooler mornings which have been nice for those seeking a meal. Sheepshead fishing has been very solid in the mornings with some Trout mixed in which have led to some great meals. Our offshore fishery is right on track and everything is showing up like clockwork. Big schools of Permit have been showing up and they've been complying nicely. We also will typically get a few shots at some Cobia while we're Permit fishing. There are also massive schools of Baracudas around as well which are always fun and have been eating artificals nicely. Further offshore there is a great snapper bite with other good action on the wrecks. Amber jacks, Jack crevalles, Cobia, Sharks, Baracudas, and Goliaths have been very steady. Our fishery will only get better from here on out as we progress further into spring. Our March calendars are basically almost full with a couple halfdays available here and there. April is beginning to fill up nicely as well. Spring yields some of the best charters of the whole year! Don't miss your opportunity to experience it.

Cobia
Warming water has heated up pre-spring fishing With the approach of springtime coming, the fish have been on the move on this warming trend just two weeks ago we were still fixed and a solid winter pattern with excellent catches on hogfish grouper and snapper at winter depth of 45 to 55 feet. There's literally low tides and high skies made for some nice sight fishing opportunities in shore. For some bruiser size cobia When the water rises after these low morning tides The snook and redfish have been to target in the afternoon Using live greenbacks Speckled chop fishing has kept everything going all winter long with greenbacks and shrimp plenty of keeper trout may December and January a big hit with clients that wanted to keep fish. Well, it seems like spring is right around the corner and we should get into some of our best fishing of the year. Let's get you booked in for another great Captains experience

Winter time fishing is amazing in key west. we had southwest winds, so we took it to the gulf side to see about catching cobia and snapper. As soon as we got to the spot, we spotted a pack of cobia on the surface.. we promptly got to work. Our anglers captured two beautiful cobia and a bunch of lanesnapper. Great bite and adrenalin filled action on this four hour morning fishing trip. I sent the boys home with several bags of fish for their cook your catch dinner.

Cobia
Winter time fish are in full swing and yellow jacks are on top of the list. November-March is the best time of year to target this remarkable specie. They are a very fast hard fishing fish that run in large schools around the reef and shallow structures inshore. Yellow jacks are also great to eat making them a high value target. There has been a few Cobia being caught on the shallow wrecks this week along with snappers and barracudas. A live pinfish on a jig head is hard to beat to target those species.
