Groupers have been chewing consistently, and they are eating everything right now—cut bait, live bait, and artificials. Speckled trout have made a comeback in the bay area, and we are seeing a lot of overslots more consistently every day! Good eating meat in the box! They are eating live pinfish, shrimp, and white bait like they have never seen them before. Big black drums are showing up in good numbers on the bridges, and they are slamming the artificial and cut crabs. The snook and redfish are getting back to their normal spring patterns of eating cut bait, white bait, and pinfish! the bite at night is just as good, if not better, then the daytime bite when it starts to warm up 🎣

We caught some great fish red grouper, gag grouper, amber jack, red snapper, trigger and Mingo. Not all were in season so took pictures and released safely. Also could you add us to okaloosa island, fort Walton beach and destin area for search locations.

Offshore trips have been great. Less fish on the 4 hour trips and more fish on the 6-8 hour trips.

The Redfish are on fire right now. We've had consistent enough weather to pattern the fish, and the water is warming up enough to keep them active. Topwater plugs is my favorite way to target these fish right now, but I'll also use swim baits and jigs. The Red Grouper bite was on fire this last week with the couple of good weather days we had, and the Vermilion Snapper and Triggerfish have been consistent all month. Red Snapper and Amberjack are easy to find, but until their season, we'll keep targeting other species. Spanish Mackerel are starting to get caught in the bay, but I expect it to be April 1st before the bite fires off.

The Vermillion Snapper are biting! The red grouper has slowed down a little but still catching a couple each trip. The Amber Jack bite inshore and off has been great fun to catch and release. The inshore Redfish are shallow been sight fishing for them and the big trout are starting to bite.

Temperatures are warming up in Florida and we are getting ready for Spring Break! The warmer water has brought a strong bite. Inshore Grouper has picked up as well as every other species after the deep freeze we had in early January. Inshore I'm concentrating around docks and structure, and lately have been trolling deep diver lures.

Fishing report from Jeremy V. in Panama City Beach, Florida

Spring fishing is ramping up! Starting see the hering and threadfins moving inshore which means our Spanish will be here anytime. Starting to catch a few sheepshead at the jetties. Red Grouper and Vermillion snapper fishing have been great especially since dredge operation has moved Out along with the dirty water it created since October. Going to be a good year already have quite a few trips in the book
