Fishing in July is Hot! Early Morning bite is the best for inshore Reds, shark fishing is active in the Harbor. Fishing in July can be extremely productive but everyday is different and we are just a couple of months away from the best fishing we have to offer and that is the fall bite!

Waters have warmed back up and a variety of fish are slipping out to bite the hooks again.Few flounders not far from shore in the Gulf are still giving it up. Tasty bright red vermillion snappers are being caught as well, when the seas lay down here and there.

Not really doing a whole lot at this time with school back in session. We were out this past Saturday and mugged up on nice flounder. We were throwing back over sized fish, which was painful. The key was making short drifts over the structure and working it hard. When the bite stops, hit the next piece. The fluke have turned on just in time for them to go out of season on the 27th. The back bays are alive with peanut bunker, spearing, and some mullet. When you can get anything to actually bite there are stripers and weakies around. Small blues too. But the bite is very spotty with all the bait. But worth the effort. Fun times are ahead. Sea bass will be opening soon. And tog is just around the corner. As are the stripers. Come on Fall!

Fishing has been great lately in the Chocktawahachee Bay. The weather has been great. Spanish mackerel, lady fish and sharks have been very consistent!

Fishing report from Guion L. in Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina

Fishing has gotten hot. Winds have been blowing for weeks and has kept us out of the ocean. We have been inshore fishing which has been producing flounder, redfish, specked trout, lady fish and some black drum. Top water bites have been fun early and as the sun gets up we start fishing deeper to get the bites.
