Lake level is -.27 low, and surface temps are 59 degrees in the morning to 65 in the afternoon. Fish have started spawning now in a lot of areas of the lake with a lot more bass on their way in. We're throwing tx. rigged Senkos 2' to 5' of water in the spawning areas and flats. Also light c-rigs with flukes. I'm booked the rest of March but have good April dates available. It's fishing good and going to get better.

Having to sift through the little ones to get to the big ones, but the big ones are there to be caught! There are definitely some bass spawning, but we are targeting the fish that are staging on offshore hard spots just outside of spawning areas with jigs and deep diving crankbaits.

The fishing is slow, but we are catching huge bass and crappie this year. Last week my buddy caught a 15.92-pound bass on a glide bait. We were catching a lot of fish using the hover stroll method, but now the bass are eating swim bait and A-rigs. Water temperature has dropped about 6 degrees, and that is why the bite has slowed. As soon as we get a little consistent weather, the lake will bust wide open. Most of the tournaments are taking 35+ pounds to win.

Peacock Bass spawn is going on right now. We are getting them on the beds. Also, we have gotten two double-digit largemouth bass weighing in over 10 pounds in the last two months, and the iguanas are everywhere. Needless to say. Offshore bike has been very consistent, catching sales Kings Bonita and some big grouper on the bottom rod. We are ending prime time for sale fish, and starting mahi season.

Welcome to Lake Fork The lake is at full pool now A lot of bass were moving up shallow on the last good warming trend with surface temps reaching the upper 50s in the afternoon in certain areas. We have had frigid freezing temps this week though which have knocked temps way back down for a bit. They were biting orange or red square bills, lipless cranks and chatter baits in 3' to 5' on shallow flats outside of creeks and secondary points. We're getting a good warming trend all next week and the post spawn is about to get real good all the way to the spawn and these fish are fat. Once they pull up shallow they don't move to far back out. Just fish a little further backoff the spawning flats in your nearby ditches and drains. Your Northern part of the lake will have a little warmer surface temps which a couple degrees can make a lot difference in the bite when its cold. Trips starting to book up so don't wait too long to get a preferred date for the post spawn and spawn.
