    Tarpon have shown up in good numbers off the beaches of Indian Rocks Beach to the clearwater beach area. They can be found just out side the swim boys up and down all the beaches. They will be in the passes awell the backwaters of clearwater sound and Dunedin FL into Tampa Bay. We can hook you up to these majestic fish. Redfish, Trout, and Snook have been scattered from the beaches to the flat. Most of the big speckled trout are off the beaches mixed with the snook witch make for great sight fishing. Scaled sardines, Small Pinfish and Pigfish is producing the better fish. For edfish they are on the flats and spoil ilands with a abundant of mullet. Cut Lady Fish or threadfins have been working well but live punfish and grass grunts can make a difference You don't want to kill the bait, it just needs to flutter on the bottom with the tail trimed off . With so many species around nearshore and inshore you can have a shot at catching some big fish to test your skills. Don't forget the shark fishing with many different species and size from 10lb up to hundreds of pounds. Now is the time to start booking your summer trips for Tarpon, Redfish, Snook, Sharks and more.     Miami Dolphins offensive tackle, Liam Eichenberg, came down with a former Norte Dame teammate for a day of backcountry fishing and "tackled" some high winds for a fun day of fishing. Wound up catching 5 snook and 3 redfish and released a sawfish. Great time on the water.

    Mosquito Lagoon has continued to produce nice Reds and some Slob Trout. We began night fishing the causeways last week and the fish were on fire. While we were able to land a few we were broken off by more than we landed. The inlet area is producing slot size Reds as well as some nice Bulls.

    Water is warming up here in the Forgotten Coast bringing a number of new opportunities to the table. Spanish Mackerel, Jacks, and bluefish are crashing our flats, with opportunities for some light tackle drag screaming action. Tripletail are starting to stack up on the structure in the bay and close to shore, making this fine table fare quite accessible. They will eagerly offer to any soft plastic, fly or live bait sent their direction. And as summer continues to heat up, our premier summer target will be taking all of our focus, the silver king. These fish grace us with the opportunity to tackle one of the worlds premier game fish on fly or conventional tackle. Be sure to get your trips booked soon as dates are filling up fast for tarpon fishin!
