    Even with the high winds, we have managed to find decently calm water holding lots of fish. Inshore and patch reefs are full of big lane snappers, yellowtails, mangroves, and, of course, the out-of-season groupers. Offshore is a little funny this year. The tuna have shown up, and the mahi seem like they are going to stick around this winter. Some days have been a bit slow in the deep blue water, so trolling the reef has provided us with plenty of mackerel action.

    The Vermillion Snapper are biting! The red grouper has slowed down a little but still catching a couple each trip. The Amber Jack bite inshore and off has been great fun to catch and release. The inshore Redfish are shallow been sight fishing for them and the big trout are starting to bite.

    Spring fishing is ramping up! Starting see the hering and threadfins moving inshore which means our Spanish will be here anytime. Starting to catch a few sheepshead at the jetties. Red Grouper and Vermillion snapper fishing have been great especially since dredge operation has moved Out along with the dirty water it created since October. Going to be a good year already have quite a few trips in the book.

    Offshore in 100-120ft Red Grouper, Vermillion Snapper bite has been excellent! If you want to have fun after catching a few fish to eat the AmberJack fishing is great this time of year but out of season. A great way to finish up a trip getting your arms worn out! The Trout and Redfish are moving from the backs of creeks to the flats catching on soft plastic baits with a popping cork , and top water is just starting to get bites.
    Offshore in 100-120ft Red Grouper, Vermillion Snapper bite has been excellent!     Epic Start to 2025 Deep-Sea Fishing in Fort Lauderdale! What a wild start to 2025! Our bottom fishing on January 1st was nothing short of incredible. We pulled up some XL Vermilion Snappers—by far the biggest I’ve ever seen—along with a steady bite of groupers, which is rare off Fort Lauderdale. I’ve never seen the grouper bite so strong around here! The only downside? They went out of season at midnight on December 31st. But no worries—on January 2nd, the groupers were still biting like crazy, and even though we had to release them, the Vermilion snappers were still putting on a show. We had solid action for three days straight, releasing 13 groupers in total and making sure they went back to the bottom safe and sound. The weather has been phenomenal, with calm seas and temperatures in the mid-60s—perfect for fishing. We also caught some great-eating fish, adding to the fun. And with a cold front on the way, we’re excited—cold fronts often bring Sailfish through, and we’re ready for the action! Looking forward to more epic fishing days ahead.
