Catch and release sturgeon fishing has been phenomenal on the Willamette River in Portland Oregon with days of 10 to 40 Sturgeon caught per trip. Also Walleye fishing on the Columbia is starting to pick up as the water is warming a few degrees. Big females are being caught and we've been catching some large trophies lately. Lake Erie is on fire and the fish are are huge. The water temp is a nice balmy 34 degrees, but the fish don't care and put the feed bag on. We are fishing in tight and the fish are scattered all over the water column. Let's go fishing!

If you can get out due to the weather, the trollers are doing well off the south shore. Limits of trophy eyes are coming in to the docks. Both perch and walleye are being taken on shore. Activity will continue to be slow until ice season comes in.

The report is from today is terrific fall Walleye fishing. Water temperature is 52ﾟ and we're still throwing jigs tipped with shiners or imitation. It's getting cold, so we've seen a few musky flapping around the water chasing food.

Walleye fishing will improve as the fish work their way back toward Lake Erie. Look for perch to move toward the shore. Good trout and salmon action up in port Huron.

Fishing been just great , walleye from 2lbs to 8lbs are starting to show up. We are trolling stick baits and weights to get to the proper depth. I’m running trips till the end of November but I only have a very few days left.

Great week for both walleye, perch, and weather. The shinners are really available at the bait shops and nice size perch limits are coming in right now. A good bite around the islands, try not to get into a pack of boats, just fish outside them by yourself. The walleye are heating up on the rocks and deep water. Working the walleye rigs in the rocks are producing. Trolling stick baits with diapers. Truetrips and lead in 35 to 45 foot of water are producing large walleye right now. The ten day forecast looks good for fishable weather .

Lake erie fishing report, 9/26. Due to high winds the boats won't see any fishing activity until Thursday. Water temperature is starting to drop and the perch are starting to hit in 12 to 25 foot. Smallmouth gong strong around the islands and Canadian waters. Soon craws will be gone and large minnows will work. Walleye in the shallows are still producing. Trolleys are catching east of Kelley's Island to the sand bar. Anglers are starting to switch back to body baits.

Perch have been good, live bait with spreaders work the best. If you can get erie spinners works best, but goodies will work. Nice catches have come in. Walleye is still being caught in the rocks around the islands, and the trolling is still working. It's going to pickup next month. Lastly, the bass are there, fishing 15 to 20 foot of water.
