Captain Harry always does his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing and excitement. He’s rated top 5 guides in the world for a reason. This involves 4 to 12-hour trips, fishing for Yellowtail, Halibut, Bluefin Tuna, Calico Bass, Mahi Mahi, California Sheephead, and Rockfish, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, bow fishing, jigging, kite fishing, popping, and spinning.

Your fishing adventure starts on a 35' Innovator Sportfisher Yacht that can safely takes up to 6 anglers. This Sportfisher comes with 2 huge bait tanks to assure you plenty of bait, 2 sinks, a full stand up toilet, refrigerator, 2 huge fish holds , stereo system, a lot of dry storage, deck space, inside galley with seats and a bed, and is custom built for fishing and safety. With a epirb and a life-raft on board they take safety in the water at no expense.

All rods, reels, and terminal tackle, bait, and fish cleaning are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. With custom made calstar rods and okuma baitfeeder reels they dont fall short of investing in quality gear. Please make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of time if your 16 or older. The crew will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip. The boat will be supplied with water for your pleasure, be sure to let the captain know if you have any questions on what to bring.

Our biggest fish on the boat was a 220 pound bluefin tuna caught 60 miles offshore during a offshore bluefin tuna trip.

If you were cooking for all your friends what would you cook?

Fish tacos! My friends praised my fish tacos and nothing beats fresh fish that hasn’t been frozen. Baja style fish tacos are my favorite tacos to eat with some delicious Crema sauce all made from scratch.

What’s your favorite band?

I don’t have a band that I admire most however I love all genres of music anything from Rammstein to Pink Floyd and classical music as well as the father of Funk, James Brown.

What’s your favorite movie?

How did you get started guiding?

I’ve been fishing these waters my entire life. Since I was young my dad would take me fishing since I was 3 years old. I have him to thank for bringing this passion into my life. I started working on sportboats up north sharpening my craft by great mentors, cutting fish and learning techniques which have excelled my skills as a fisherman and a captain. Fishing is my passion and I started doing it professionally on my own 5 years ago.

What makes you different from other guides?

I’ve been thankfully taught by the best in the game . Having top notch Customer service is very important to me . Making sure my clients are looked after , communicated properly , taught as well as having a great time while learning something new. We have clients at all ranks. Our persistence , friends in the water, gathering intel , and our service is second to none .
