For this fun trip, you'll fish the local coast of Orange County with its reefs, man-made structures, kelp beds, and points. You can go wherever the fish are biting, but some favorite spots are the Santa Ana River Jetty and Newport Artificial Reef—both are famous for very large White Seabass, Yellowtail, and Halibut. Calico Bass can also be found at all these spots and are really fun to reel in. This is a great trip to maximize your fishing time, because you're staying fairly close to shore.
