Captain Nick was born and raised in Massachusetts, commercial fishing for striped bass and Bluefin tuna. After “retiring” early from being a high school teacher, he moved to Marathon in 2005 where he used to vacation with family every year. Nick’s love affair with fishing in the Keys was instant, starting with his first trip to Marathon in grade school.

Head out with Captain Nick for an epic Florida Keys inshore/nearshore adventure aboard his 35' Contender.

Enjoy reef fishing for yellowtail and mangrove snapper, mackerel, and grouper. Trolling and live baiting for wahoo, sailfish, and kingfish. Or, wreck fishing for mutton snapper, grouper, amberjack and more. All three are great options and it all depends on what you want to do! Captain Nick is all about customizing a trip to your goals and expectations, and for this reason prides himself on the number of repeat clients he has in his client base. When you fish with Captain Nick he will do everything in his power to make sure you have the best possible experience out on the water!

His boat comes loaded with everything you could possibly need to catch tons of fish. Since all the gear and licenses are provided all you need to bring are your favorite snacks and drinks and maybe some lunch for the full day trips, and Captain Nick will get straight to work for you!
