Fishing was pretty rough. Caught two bait fish and a few yellow tails under 12" long. We understood the fishing may be a little tough with the windy weather but seemed like we were just wasting time. New first mate. We hoped to catch a few fish to eat but spent more time trying to anchor (three times) with no luck. Im not an ocean fishing guide but have spent a few hours on my own boat and when its too windy and too much current to anchor I will usually head to a new area. Wish we would have tried a new spot or two and possibly a new tactic. We could have went to a bridge pillar and caught a few fish to eat. Would not recommend if the fishing may be tough.

Great day on the water with Captain Eric. Started off slow but caught some great fish including the Goliath Grouper and Tarpon below. Eric is very knowledgeable and a great teacher! I have fresh water fished my whole life, this was my first inshore experience and I learned techniques from Eric that I didn’t know. My wife and I truly enjoyed our time of the water with Captain Eric! The sea trout that Eric filleted was prepared at of local restaurant and was delicious! Fantastic Captain. Worked very hard to put us on fish. Mahi, Tile Fish and snapper. I will be fishing with him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a charter.
