Captain Alfonso is your man if you’re looking to get out and wade the waters of South Texas. You'll need your own waders and wading boots if you don't want to get wet, but feel free to stalk ‘em in skinny water in a bathing suit, shorts, and boots in the warmer spring and summer months. For these trips, Captain Alfonso runs a 24' 2022 Shallow Master, with a brand-new Suzuki 200-HP outboard—but you won't be spending all too much time on the boat given that you'll be in the water actively fishing. Wading can be tremendously advantageous to the angler looking to hone in on specific areas where big fish hang out.
