Captain Leon is a Pacific Northwest native and dedicated river angler with deep roots in the Columbia and Snake River systems. A Navy veteran, he brought his discipline and work ethic back home to Southeast Washington, where he’s spent decades fishing these waters and learning how they change with the seasons.

After an injury shifted his career path, Leon turned his lifelong passion into a full-time pursuit, attending captain school and building a guide business centered around sharing these fisheries with others. His approach is simple—work hard, stay on fish, and never quit on the bite.

He specializes in the nuances of the region, from tracking salmon migration patterns to understanding where sturgeon hold in deep water, adjusting each trip based on conditions like water flow, weather, and seasonal movement.
