About Your Trip

Fish the productive waters of the Snake River in southeastern Washington on a fully guided trip focused on one of the region’s most reliable and rewarding species—Walleye. These trips are offered as half day, full day, and seasonal night trips, giving you flexibility to fish when the bite is best.

Day trips focus on working current breaks, structure, and deeper holding water using proven techniques like jigging, bottom bouncers, and spinner rigs. Your guide adjusts
the approach throughout the day based on conditions, helping you stay on active fish and maximize your time on the water.

For a completely different experience, the night trips (June–August) are a standout option. Starting around 8 PM and running for about 5 hours, these trips target walleye during their most active feeding window. As the sun sets, fish move into shallower water, creating consistent action and steady opportunities to hook up. It’s a relaxed, productive trip that’s especially popular with families thanks to the frequent bites and cooler evening conditions.

Trips are run as private charters, typically accommodating up to 4 anglers, with the option to bring a couple more if needed. Your guide provides all rods, reels, tackle, and the boat—handling navigation and setup so you can focus on fishing.

You’ll just need to bring snacks, drinks, and a valid Washington fishing license. Whether you’re fishing during the day or under the lights at night, this is a well-rounded, action-focused trip on one of the Pacific Northwest’s top walleye fisheries.

Captain Leon is a Pacific Northwest native and dedicated river angler with deep roots in the Columbia and Snake River systems. A Navy veteran, he brought his discipline and work ethic back home to Southeast Washington, where he’s spent decades fishing these waters and learning how they change with the seasons.

After an injury shifted his career path, Leon turned his lifelong passion into a full-time pursuit, attending captain school and building a guide business centered around sharing these fisheries
with others. His approach is simple—work hard, stay on fish, and never quit on the bite.

He specializes in the nuances of the region, from tracking salmon migration patterns to understanding where sturgeon hold in deep water, adjusting each trip based on conditions like water flow, weather, and seasonal movement.

Leon prides himself on being approachable and high-energy, creating a welcoming environment for anglers of all experience levels. Whether you’re chasing your first fish or looking to dial things in, his goal is to keep the trip safe, productive, and enjoyable from start to finish.
