Port Isabel Turning Basin Fishing Charters

This is a full day (7hr) private bay fishing trip for two people targeting primarily redfish and speckled trout on the pristine waters of the Lower Laguna Madre. This trip is geared up for anglers that are more experienced or intermediate level fishermen and will keep at it throughout the day. This is an avid fisherman’s trip entailing a lot of lure fishing out along the grass flats and probably will end up a far distance from the dock(South Padre). Half day private bay fishing charter (5hrs) at South Padre Island, Texas. Targeting primarily redfish and speckled trout with various fishing techniques from artificial baits, fresh cut ,and/or live baits. Sometimes target snook, black drum, sheep’s head, and triple tail if conditions and seasonality are present. Currently running a 24 ft Shallow Stalker boat equipped with a Suzuki 175 and a Minn Kota trolling motor. Over 20 years local fishing experience here a South Padre. Family friendly and kid tested. This is a half day private bay fishing trip for the family at South Padre Island. Target species are primarily speckled trout and redfish, but other species are caught when conditions permit. Other species could be flounder, black drum, sheepshead, snook or even a triple tail. Amateur to avid anglers are welcome. This is a kid tested and family approved private bay fishing charter. Most family trips decide to fish with live baits (a small additional cost) or fresh cut bait. Once trip is over a fish cleaner will fillet and package fish.
