have a great day on the water.

I run a 24” Blazer Bay 2400 with a 2025 Suzuki 350 with a twin rotating prop. It’s a smooth dry running boat with high enough gunnels to feel safe even with the kids.

Independent Guide
Get ready for an unforgettable day on the water with Captain Ken, a USCG-licensed guide offering exciting fishing charters along the Texas coast. From the shallows of Laguna Madre and Baffin Bay to the offshore waters near Corpus Christi, Captain Ken brings decades of experience and a passion for putting anglers on fish.

Whether you’re a seasoned fisherman or a first-timer, every trip is tailored to your skill level and goals. Families are welcome, and safety and comfort are always
a top priority.

For inshore trips, you'll fish from a 24’ Blazer Bay powered by a 300HP Evinrude—ideal for reaching skinny water where redfish, trout, and drum love to feed. For offshore runs targeting snapper, kingfish, wahoo, amberjack, and more, Captain Ken runs a spacious 33’ Chris-Craft powered by twin Yamaha 250s, built for a smooth ride and serious action.

Top-quality rods, reels, and tackle are provided, or feel free to bring your favorite setup. Just pack your food, drinks, sunscreen, and license—Captain Ken will handle the rest.

What’s your favorite sports team?
Kansas City Chiefs; K-State Wildcats and Arkansas Razorbacks
What’s your drink of choice?

What was your last halloween costume?
When I was 12 years old.
What do you want for Christmas this year?
World peace and happiness
How did you get started guiding?
By fishing a lot.
What makes you different from other guides?
There’s a lot of good guides out there. Some even great. Just make sure you vibe with the person taking out for several hours. Tell the guide what you want your day to look like and see if he/ she can offer to deliver. For an example, if I had a client call me and tell me they were expecting to go wade fishing, I would refer them to a couple of the best wade fishing guides in south Texas, because that’s not really in my repertoire. So find the guide that fits your needs, not just a guide looking to fill the calendar.
