Whether you're here to chase your first Pacific Blue Marlin, haul in a hard-fighting Tuna, or simply enjoy a day offshore with your crew, this team is dedicated to helping you hook up and have a blast doing it.

The vessel is a tournament-proven 47’ Buddy Davis Convertible Sportfisher, purpose-built for big game fishing and fully modernized for peak performance and comfort. She’s undergone a full transformation, including twin 850hp Caterpillar engines, a brand-new deck and fuel system, and a 2024 electronics suite featuring Garmin systems, Furuno omni-directional sonar, a Furuno Doppler, and TimeZero navigation. Inside, you'll find three A/C units keeping things cool, plus a full salon, master stateroom, refrigerator, and microwave — making long days on the water as comfortable as they are exciting.

Every trip is outfitted for serious action, with heavy tackle Shimano 130 combos spooled with tournament-grade Amilan line. You’ll troll four lines with hooks, plus surface teasers and a dredge to maximize your odds at hooking into a monster. If the bite calls for something different, GreenStick tuna fishing is also available, along with light tackle setups perfect for mahi-mahi and other table fare.

From the first line in the water to the final run back to the harbor, Captain Kai’s goal is simple: give you the best possible shot at everything from dinner-worthy fish to one of Kona’s legendary marlin.

All gear is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.
You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
