About Your Trip

Make your next trip to Port O’Connor one to remember with a world-class bay or wade fishing adventure alongside Captain Lynn! With over 40 years of experience on the Texas Mid-Coast, Captain Lynn is one of the most respected Port O’Connor, Texas bay fishing guides in the region—and for good reason. His deep knowledge of the area, combined with his passion for fishing and teaching, provides a top-tier experience whether you're new to the sport or a seasoned angler.

Captain Lynn offers guided fishing trips throughout the Port O’Connor bay system, including the productive waters of Espiritu Santo Bay, West Matagorda Bay, San Antonio Bay, Ayres and Mesquite Bays, and even the Matagorda Island surf. These rich fisheries are home to an abundance of Speckled Trout, Redfish, and Flounder, giving anglers year-round opportunities to hook into quality fish.

You’ll have the option to drift or wade fish depending on the season, conditions, and your personal preferences. Trips are fully customizable and can include fishing with artificial lures, live bait, or even fly fishing for those looking to test their skills on the flats. If you're searching for a dedicated Port O’Connor, Texas wade fishing guide or want to focus on flyfishing with artificials, Captain Lynn has you covered.

You’ll fish from a 24’ bay boat that’s equipped for comfort and performance, perfectly suited for navigating shallow flats and open bay waters alike. The boat accommodates up to 4 anglers, and Captain Lynn provides all rods, reels, lures, and expert instruction throughout your trip. Whether you want to focus on topwater action for Trout or sight-cast to tailing Redfish, this is your chance to fish like a local.

Captain Lynn is not only a full-time professional fishing guide, but also a former president of the Coastal Bend Guide Association’s Port O’Connor Chapter, and a proud member of the Shallow Sport Pro Staff. His reputation is built on decades of dedication to the sport and an unmatched familiarity with the local waters.

Kids and families are welcome on board! Be sure to bring snacks, water, sun protection (non-spray sunblock), and sunglasses. Child-sized life vests may be available upon request, or you’re welcome to bring your own. You're also free to bring drinks along—just keep it in moderation and leave the glass bottles and hard liquor behind.
