About Your Trip

This will be a quick land based trip with very high sucess rates. I will show you local techniques that are sure to catch peacock bass year around. We will most likely be sight fishing if the conditions allow so bring a good pair of polarized sunglasses. I highly recommend 2 dozen live shiners for this trip. I don’t sell bait but will gladly pick them up for you at the local bait-shop at market price. These fish can also be targeted using artificial lures if you are experienced but shiners will guarantee your success. This is the perfect trip for those that want to knock peacock bass off their bucket list but don’t have all day to fish or want to do it in a budget friendly manner.

How did you get started guiding?
I’ve loved fishing since I was 5 years old and caught my first peacock bass and while it’s still my favorite thing ever I was able to recreate that excitement of that first big fish until I started guiding. That excitement of putting a kid or first timer on a big fish and seeing their eyes pop is what I live for. I hope to make all of my clients love fishing as much as I do.
What makes you different from other guides?
I can cater to both the tournament angler chasing peacock bass on topwater and the first timers. I’m not strictly a live bait fisherman I have great success with artificial lures.

Techniques

Everything Else to Know

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip. Also it is always recommended to bring a few bottled waters.
You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.
