About Your Trip

Head out on an unforgettable Florida freshwater adventure with Valerie as you explore some of the most exciting bass fishing waters the state has to offer! Whether you're a seasoned angler chasing your next trophy or a newcomer looking to reel in your first Largemouth, Valerie’s bass fishing trips are designed to put you on the fish and make every cast count.

Depending on the season, you’ll be targeting Florida-strain Largemouth Bass using a mix
of artificial baits and wild shiners—the live bait of choice for serious trophy hunting. Valerie is an expert when it comes to dialing in what the fish want, and she’ll tailor your trip based on conditions, your preferences, and the most effective techniques for the day. Whether you're flipping soft plastics into thick cover, working a topwater over lily pads, or slow-rolling a spinnerbait through submerged structure, you'll have a shot at connecting with a Florida giant.

You’ll be fishing aboard a 21’ Blazer 625 Pro Elite bass boat that’s fully rigged for serious anglers. With space for up to 4 passengers, this high-performance vessel is equipped with multiple Lowrance HDS live graphs (standard, down scan, side scan, and live scan), dual 10’ power poles, and a 36v Lowrance Ghost trolling motor. It’s the kind of setup that puts you right where the fish are—and keeps you stealthy while you work them. It’s a true tournament-caliber boat, giving you the edge whether you're fishing open water or sneaking into backcountry pockets.

Valerie supplies all rods, reels, tackle, and lures you'll need for the trip, and she’ll walk you through a variety of techniques like bottom fishing, popping, jigging, heavy tackle, and spinning to match the conditions and target fish behavior. You’ll be fishing a mix of inshore freshwater spots, including lakes, rivers, and backcountry systems known for holding quality bass.

Ice and bottled water are provided on board, and guests are welcome to bring along snacks, sodas, and sports drinks. Alcohol is permitted in moderation (no glass bottles, please). Sunscreen (non-spray), polarized sunglasses, buffs, and lightweight long-sleeve fishing shirts are all strongly recommended—this is Florida, and the sun doesn’t take days off.

Before your trip, make sure to check whether you’ll need to purchase a local freshwater fishing license. These are typically easy to secure online or through the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, and Valerie can help answer any questions.

Whether you choose a 4, 6, or 8-hour trip, Valerie is here to make your day on the water fun, productive, and full of Florida bass fishing memories. Come chase your trophy with a guide who knows how to find them—and is ready to put you on fish from the very first cast!
