About Your Trip

Hi everyone, I’m Mike Boyles full-time Fishing Guide and this trip will target largemouth bass primarily on headwaters reservoir which is south of Orlando Florida about 90 minute drive and north of Vero Beach on the East Coast off of I 95! Headwaters lake is the hottest Big Bass lake on the East Coast currently and located right next to the Stick marsh and just a few more miles from Garcia so we’ve got several options depending on whether conditions!
My larger center console boat can accommodate up to six anglers per trip. Just add $50 per angler on top of two anglers that are already included in the price.
I do both wild shiner trips which the client is responsible for paying for the bait that would be an additional $25 per dozen and I always recommend 4 to 6 dozen shiners per trip or we can do artificial Trip using plastics and I do have all the equipment, all the rods and reels You just show up and make sure you have a valid daily fishing permit !
I always say dress in layers and bring a hat and sunglasses and snacks. I will provide water on the boat and lifejackets and if needed I also have rain gear.
This is a bucket list trip for many anglers, and I look forward to fishing in Florida every season as well!!!!

I’m Captain Mike and I’m a full-time Fishing Guide in a couple of different states because I don’t like the cold weather anymore and I am now taking trips to the Amazon as well!
With over 40 years of fishing experience all over the US and internationally several times not only do I have the skills to catch fish. I have the stories to back them up.
My current boat is a 23 foot center console that can accommodate groups up to six people whether that be an entire family or a group of guys wanting to go catch Big Bass!!!!

The Kansas City Chiefs as I won a coloring contest in the third grade and got tickets to a game and got to go out on the field for the coin toss, and my grandpa had been a season-ticket holder for years as well!!!

Uncle Fester with a working lightbulb and yes, I won the contest!!!!

In between Fishing bass tournaments I started guiding some but my main influence was a guide named Jeff Parsons who my father hired out every year here on Table Rock Lake as I was growing up when we were on vacation and it’s pretty cool how full circle it is that I’m now taking families and kids out And making memories

All rods, reels, and tackle are included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and any gear of your own you want to use on the trip.

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

The deposit for this trip is non-refundable except for weather-related cancellations. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.
