About Your Trip

There’s nothing like a day on Lake Norman, calm water, beautiful views, and the chance to hook into some serious fish. My goal with every trip is simple to give you an awesome day on the lake, no stress, just great fishing and good memories.

We’ll launch from one of Lake Norman’s main access points (whichever is closet for you) and head out on my 21-foot ikon bass boat, fully loaded with Garmin LiveScope. I’ll show you exactly how I use my electronics to find fish and explain what’s happening under the surface. Trips usually run 4–8 hours, and I provide cold drinks and light snacks, so all you need to bring is yourself and whatever you’d like for the day.

Each trip is built around what you want whether that’s targeting largemouth and spotted bass, going after stripers and hybrids, or just cruising around the lake enjoying the scenery. I also offer electronics and mapping sessions for anyone who wants to learn how to use their own setup more effectively.

What sets my trips apart is how personal they are. I’ve spent most of my life fishing Lake Norman, and I love showing people what makes this lake special. Whether you’re an experienced angler or it’s your first time on a boat, I’ll make sure you leave with new skills, great photos, and a story worth telling.

Everything Else to Know

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.
You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 7 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 7 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
