With a range of nearshore spots—from artificial reefs and rock piles to grass flats and sunken wrecks—you’ll be targeting a diverse lineup of hard-fighting species. Depending on the season and conditions, you could hook into King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Redfish, Cobia, Sheepshead, Flounder, Speckled Trout, or even Amberjack and Crevalle Jack. Every day brings something new, and the crew adjusts the game plan in real-time to follow the bite.

This trip is perfect for families and beginners thanks to calmer waters, short travel times, and consistent action that keeps everyone engaged. Kids as young as five have landed fish on these trips, and there’s plenty of room to move around, learn the ropes, and enjoy the experience at your own pace.

You’ll fish aboard a custom 31’ Twin Vee powered by twin Mercury engines. The boat is federally permitted for up to six guests and comes equipped with all the essentials—quality rods, reels, tackle, and electronics to help find and stay on the fish. It’s fast, stable, and designed for comfort so you can focus on the fun.

Along the way, don’t be surprised if you spot dolphins, pelicans, or even a Gulf Coast sunset—it’s all part of the adventure.

All fishing gear is provided. Just bring a valid Alabama saltwater fishing license, weather-appropriate clothing, sunscreen (non-spray), polarized sunglasses, snacks, drinks (no glass), and your favorite crew. Whether you’re after your next big catch or a fun day with the family, this nearshore trip delivers a memorable Dauphin Island experience.

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.
You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel up to 1 day before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.
