About Your Trip

On this trip we will cruise up the Colorado River. We meet up at Burnet County Park. Some know this area to be called The Canyon of Eagles. During certain times of the year the eagles roost in trees along the canyon. The scenery is absolutely amazing!! The river winds through the hill country coming from up near San Saba. We see lots of wildlife on this cruise, deer, mountain goats, eagles, and birds. This is a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. Just hang out and enjoy the cruise while enjoying the time with close friends or family. You can pack a bag with some snacks or food and a cooler for your drinks, or I can stock whatever you would like on the boat and have it ready for you when you arrive. There is a charge for this, but it really makes your trip extra special.

I have been a die hard fisherman my entire life. It all started fishing stock ponds with my father when I was about 4. I did 9 years in the Army reserves right out of high school. My wife and I met when we were both Stationed at Fort Hood. She was in the Army as well. We have now been married for 27 years. Shortly after we were married we started a Termite and Pest Control company, which we still have to this day. Being a guide is something I always wanted to do, and I finally got to a time where I could. I have been guiding now for 2 years, and I love it. We have 2 sons, both young men now. The youngest is my go to guy for anything I need with our pest control company. We also have 3 other employees, but things are good and I’m what I like to call semi retired.. lol. I would love to have you come enjoy a day on the water with me!

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 7 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 7 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a QR Code boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!
In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.
Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
