About Your Trip

Head out for a thrilling freshwater adventure in the heart of the Texas Hill Country with Captain Randy! With nearly 20 years of experience fishing the lakes and rivers around Central Texas, Randy knows these waters like the back of his hand—and he’s ready to show you just how good the bite can be.

On this trip, you'll be targeting feisty Largemouth Bass and the native Guadalupe Bass across some of the region’s most iconic
fisheries, including Lake Lyndon B. Johnson, Buchanan Lake, Inks Lake, Lake Travis, and Lake Austin. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or picking up a rod for the first time, Randy will tailor the trip to your experience level and help you lock in on the hot spots where these bass love to feed.

Both 4- and 6-hour options are available, making this a perfect way to get on the water during peak feeding windows. These lakes offer a range of conditions—from rocky points and brush piles to deep drop-offs and submerged structure—so you’ll get the chance to try a variety of techniques. Randy has a full arsenal of top-end rods, reels, and tackle for you to use, and he’ll walk you through everything from topwater action to finesse rigs depending on what the fish are hitting that day.

You’ll be fishing from Randy’s 21’ Skeeter bass boat, a sleek and stable vessel designed for navigating Texas lakes with speed and precision. The boat accommodates up to 2 anglers, making this an ideal trip for solo anglers, a parent-child outing, or fishing buddies looking for a great day out.

All rods, reels, and tackle are provided, and kids are more than welcome on board—Randy is great with younger anglers and loves sharing the joy of bass fishing with the next generation. You're welcome to bring your favorite snacks and drinks (just no glass containers), and enjoy a cold beer responsibly while soaking in the beautiful Central Texas scenery.

Book your trip today and come make some great memories chasing Texas bass with Captain Randy!

Independent Guide
I have been a die hard fisherman my entire life. It all started fishing stock ponds with my father when I was about 4. I did 9 years in the Army reserves right out of high school. My wife and I met when we were both Stationed at Fort Hood. She was in the Army as well. We have now been married for 27 years. Shortly after we were married we started a Termite and Pest Control company, which we still have to this day. Being a guide is something I always wanted to do, and I finally got to a time where I could. I have been guiding now for 2 years, and I love it. We have 2 sons, both young men now. The youngest is my go to guy for anything I need with our pest control company. We also have 3 other employees, but things are good and I’m what I like to call semi retired.. lol. I would love to have you come enjoy a day on the water with me!
