About Your Trip

Float into an unforgettable day on the water with Connor and his seasoned team of river guides. With decades of experience navigating the scenic rivers of the Southern Appalachians, these float trips are crafted for anglers who crave a mix of stunning scenery, hands-on instruction, and rod-bending action. Whether you're drifting through peaceful trout streams, floating down blue ribbon smallmouth rivers, or casting big flies for elusive musky, Connor and crew are ready to guide you toward your next great catch.

Choose from half-day, 3/4-day, or full-day float trips, each one tailored to your goals, skill level, and favorite species. From the moment you hop aboard, everything is taken care of—transportation, premium fishing gear, flies or lures, snacks, drinks, and even lunch on full-day trips. You’ll be outfitted with high-quality rods, reels, waders, and boots, and guided by professionals who know every bend, pool, and riffle of these rivers like the backs of their hands.

And if you’re booking a full-day float, you’re in for a treat: the best lunch on the river. We're talking about a riverside hot shore lunch—your choice of fresh tuna steak or crabcake, cooked to perfection right there on the bank. Add in homemade slaw, chips, dessert, and a cold drink, and you’ve got a mid-day break you’ll be dreaming about long after the trip ends. Lunch is just $20 per person, and you're more than welcome to BYOB—there’s cooler space on the boat for whatever beverages you’d like to bring along.

Fish for wild Rainbow and Brown Trout in cold, clear Appalachian streams, or chase aggressive Smallmouth Bass that smash flies and lures with reckless abandon. Looking for a true test of patience and persistence? Target massive Musky—the legendary “fish of 10,000 casts”—on a trip built for the angler who’s all in on the hunt for one giant bite. No matter your quarry, Connor’s crew is equipped to put you in the right spot, with the right setup, at the right time.

You’ll need to bring a few essentials—polarized sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat, rain gear, and layered clothing to match the day’s weather. A fishing license is required and can easily be purchased the morning of your trip if needed.

Whether you’re brand new to fly fishing, a lifelong spin angler, or somewhere in between, this team takes pride in crafting an experience that matches your passion. They’re serious about fishing, and even more serious about making sure you drive home happy—with great stories, sore arms, and maybe even a new personal best.

So grab your gear, round up your crew, and hit the river for a float trip you won’t forget.
