About Your Trip

Join Captain Donald for his annual winter special, a private inshore fishing trip for up to four anglers. Trips depart at either 6:30 AM or 7:00 AM, giving you the opportunity to get an early start on the water. Winter is often a productive time to fish these waters, as cooler water temperatures can concentrate fish in areas that are easier to target throughout the day.

Depending on the conditions, you may fish for Redfish, Speckled Trout, Sheepshead, Black Drum, and other seasonal inshore species. Captain Donald will adjust the day's approach based on the tides, weather, and fish activity, using the techniques that best match the conditions.

You'll fish aboard Captain Donald's 25' bay boat, designed for comfortably fishing the area's inshore waters. The boat offers ample room to fish, along with dual livewells, dual Power-Poles, and an Ulterra trolling motor for precise boat positioning. Additional amenities include a T-top for shade, AM/FM SiriusXM satellite radio, and Bluetooth audio, so you're welcome to connect your phone and play your own music during the trip.

This trip welcomes anglers of all experience levels, from first-timers to seasoned fishermen. Young anglers are welcome aboard, making it a great option for families looking to spend time on the water together.

As you travel between fishing spots, you'll also have the opportunity to take in the area's natural scenery and wildlife. Dolphins, wading birds, and other native species are commonly seen throughout the surrounding marshes and waterways.

Everything you need for the trip is included. We recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and any other personal items you'd like to have with you while you're on the water.

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 7 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 7 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.

After booking your trip, we'll connect you directly with your guide to discuss additional details. In the meantime, our team is here to answer any questions via email, text, or phone.
