Captain Sheldon was born and raised in these waters and has spent decades working on fishing and lobster boats around Harbour Island and the surrounding Out Islands. With his unmatched knowledge of the reefs, ledges, and underwater hotspots, you’ll be guided straight to the best locations to dive, explore, and hunt.

The main event? Spearing lobster with a Hawaiian sling—just like the locals do. You’ll snorkel through crystal-clear turquoise waters in search of these tasty treasures, with all gear provided and hands-on help from Captain Sheldon and his mate. For larger groups, you'll rotate turns in the water so everyone gets a chance to dive in and experience the thrill of the hunt.

But the adventure doesn’t stop with the catch. Between snorkel stops, Captain Sheldon and his mate can prepare fresh Conch Seviche right on the boat—a delicious Bahamian treat made with conch caught that day. It’s a true taste of island life and the perfect way to break up your time on the water.

Your trip will take place aboard either a 32’ Outrage or a 34’ Venture, both powered by twin engines for a smooth, reliable ride. The 34’ Venture offers extra comfort with a working bathroom and full shaded area at the back, perfect for relaxing between dives or keeping cool under the tropical sun.

Half-day and full-day trips are available, and each charter is fully customized based on your preferences, the tides, and the season. Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 7 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 7 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Sheldon and his mate Jake were fantastic! They picked us up on Harbour Island and we cruised over towards Spanish Wells to dive a few traps for lobsters. We had 11 guys and they made sure we were all situated on the boat comfortably - we had plenty of room to lounge when we weren't diving. The spots ranged from 18 feet at the most to 6 feet at the shallowest and our group of rookies had no problem diving down and spearing some lobsters with slings (although it might have helped if we could hold our breath longer!). We hit 6 traps and one in particular had a ton of lobsters so we caught more than enough for a great lunch at Valentine's Marina after getting back. Thank y'all again!

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
