Join Captain Ryan for a day of fishing on the productive waters of West Galveston Bay. Whether it's your first time fishing or you've been doing it for years, this trip is a great fit for anglers of all skill levels. Captain Ryan is a highly reviewed local guide who enjoys sharing his knowledge of the bay and works hard to give every group the best experience possible.

One of the nice things about fishing with Captain Ryan is the flexibility. Departure times can be adjusted to fit your schedule, with common start times at 6:00 AM, 6:30 AM, 7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, 1:30 PM, 2:00 PM, 2:30 PM, and 3:00 PM. If another time works better for your group, just let him know and he'll do his best to accommodate.

You'll be fishing from a 24' bay boat that's built for chasing inshore fish. It's equipped with a Power-Pole, trolling motor, GPS, VHF radio, live well, plenty of storage compartments, life jackets, and an ice chest stocked with ice for your food and drinks. You're also welcome to connect your phone to the boat's Bluetooth sound system and enjoy your favorite playlist while you're out on the water.

Depending on the season and conditions, you'll be fishing for Speckled Trout, Redfish, and Flounder, with opportunities to target Bull Redfish and Sharks as well. Captain Ryan will tailor the day's plan to the conditions and put his local knowledge to work to give you the best opportunity for an enjoyable day on the water.

Rods and reels are provided, and cast-netted bait is included at no extra charge. If live bait is needed, it's available for an additional cost—typically around $30 per person, depending on the type of bait used. If you're planning to wade fish, please note that wading gear is not provided.

Before heading out, be sure to bring your favorite food and drinks, sunscreen or tanning lotion, a hat, polarized sunglasses, a light-colored shirt, and a jacket if the weather is cool. We also recommend bringing a small cooler to take your catch home at the end of the day. Canned beer is welcome aboard, but please leave glass containers at home.

Trips can depart from Captain Mark's Bastrop Marina, Sea Isle Marina, or San Luis Pass County Park, making it easy to choose the launch location that's most convenient for your group.

Please pack drinks of your choice, food or snacks, sunscreen/tanning lotion, jackets if its cool/cold, hats, polarized Sunglasses, small ice chest for your catch of the day, LIGHT colored shirt. Rods and reels will be provided. Bait is additional ranging from $30/head +/- depending on what bait is used. Castnet Bate is available at no extra charge. We do not provide wading gear.

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

This trip is managed by an outfitter. Ryan will be your point of contact and you will go out with one of their guides.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.
