About Your Trip

Cover a wide range of productive waters along the south shore of Lake Ontario on a multi-species trip running May 1st through September. This is a flexible, action-focused day designed to keep a rod in your hand while targeting a variety of fish based on current conditions and your goals.

You’ll have the opportunity to catch Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, Walleye, Bowfin, Freshwater Drum, Crappie, and Yellow Perch, with the exact plan tailored
to what’s biting best.

Trips take place across multiple fisheries between Fairhaven and Sandy Creek, including areas like Little Sodus Bay, the Oswego River and Harbor, Little Salmon River (Mexico Point), the Salmon River Estuary, Sandy Pond, and a few lesser-known spots that consistently produce. Where you fish will depend on conditions and your preferences for the day.

This is an active, hands-on trip—no sitting around waiting. You’ll be casting, working structure, and adjusting techniques throughout the day, learning how to target different species and understand how they relate to their environment.

The goal is not just to catch fish, but to help you understand how and why you’re catching them. By the end of the trip, you’ll walk away with a better feel for the techniques and patterns used to consistently put fish in the boat—and the satisfaction of knowing you earned every one of them.
