About Your Trip

Experience one of New England’s classic spring traditions with a guided turkey hunt in the woods of southern New Hampshire. From the quiet walk into the dark woods before sunrise to hearing that first gobble echo through the trees, these hunts are built around the excitement and strategy that make spring turkey season so addictive.

Hunts take place throughout parts of Cheshire, Sullivan, and Merrimack counties on a mix of private and public land, with locations selected based on scouting activity, bird movement, and current conditions. Whether you’re an experienced turkey hunter, brand new to the sport, traveling to New Hampshire for a hunt, or introducing a younger hunter to the outdoors, trips can be tailored to your experience level and goals.

Trips begin around 4:00 AM and run through the morning until approximately 12:00 PM, rain or shine. Hunts may involve either blind hunting setups or more mobile-style hunting, depending on weather, terrain, and your preferred style. Mobile hunts can involve covering ground and setting up against trees or natural cover as birds move throughout the morning.

Both shotgun and archery hunters are welcome. Hunts accommodate up to 2 hunters per trip, with a limit of one bird per hunter, per trip in accordance with regulations.

Your trip includes water, coffee, snacks, handwarmers, and plenty of time talking strategy, calling, setup positioning, and turkey behavior throughout the hunt. Hot breakfasts are included, and lodging for up to 4 guests may also be available in a private heated cabin with electricity located on the property.

Hunters are responsible for bringing a valid New Hampshire hunting license and turkey tag, along with their own firearm or bow, ammunition, camouflage clothing, waterproof boots, and weather-appropriate layers. Because spring ticks can be active, treating hunting gear with permethrin prior to the trip is strongly recommended.

This is a hands-on New Hampshire turkey hunting experience focused on good setups, active birds, and enjoying spring mornings in the woods.
