These trips are designed around the type of fishing you want to do, the species you want to target, and current seasonal conditions across the Cheshire and Sullivan County areas.

Depending on the time of year and your goals for the day, you may target Trout, Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Walleye, or Shad using a variety of fly fishing approaches throughout the trip.

Trips can include both river drifts and stillwater floats, giving you access to a wide range of local fisheries and fishing styles. Some days may focus on covering moving water for trout and bass, while others may involve working calmer stillwater environments for warm water species.

This is a full-day adventure with lunch included, built around keeping the trip flexible and adapting to what’s fishing best locally at the time. Meetup locations vary depending on the fishery selected for the day.

Trips are generally available on weekdays from mid-June through mid-August, with weekend availability throughout the remainder of the season.

Whether you’re looking to sight fish, cover water from the drift boat, or spend a relaxed day exploring New Hampshire fisheries with a fly rod in hand, this trip offers a flexible and personalized day on the water.

Based in Alstead, New Hampshire, he spends much of his time on the water and in the woods sharing the experiences that first got him hooked on fishing and hunting himself.

Alongside his wife Maggie, two boys, and two dogs, Joe has built his life around the outdoors and enjoys helping others experience everything New Hampshire has to offer. He guides a wide variety of trips including fly fishing, float trips, walk-and-wade trips, ice fishing, striped bass charters, and turkey hunts, targeting both warm and cold water species throughout the state.

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
