About Your Trip

Experience New Hampshire ice fishing without needing to buy gear, drill holes, haul equipment, or worry about setup. These guided trips are built to make winter fishing approachable, comfortable, and fun for everyone—from families introducing kids to the ice for the first time to anglers chasing a specific species.

Trips primarily take place throughout the Cheshire and Sullivan County areas near Alstead, New Hampshire, with fishing locations selected based on current ice conditions, fish activity,
and safety. Ice fishing season typically runs from January through the end of March, with trips generally offered on weekends.

This is a relaxed, family-friendly experience focused on spending quality time outdoors while still staying comfortable on the ice. Heated portable shelters are provided, along with warm drinks, food, hand warmers, and all the fishing gear needed for the day. Whether you’re actively jigging, fishing tip-ups, or simply enjoying time in the shelter waiting for flags to pop, the trip is designed to be enjoyable for all experience levels.

Safety is always the top priority. Ice conditions are closely monitored throughout the season, and fishing areas are checked beforehand to ensure safe access. Safety equipment including ice picks and traction spikes are also provided.

Trips run approximately 5 hours, typically from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, though start times can be flexible depending on conditions and your group’s preferences. Family and group trips accommodate up to 4 people, with additional guests possible for an added fee.

Your trip includes:

- Full-time guide
- All bait, tackle, and fishing equipment
- Heated portable fish houses
- Hand warmers
- Ice safety gear
- Warm drinks and food
- Fish cleaning so you can bring your catch home
- Access to digital photos and media from the trip

Guests are responsible for bringing appropriate winter clothing, insulated waterproof boots, and a valid New Hampshire freshwater fishing license for anyone age 16 and older.

If you’ve ever wanted to experience ice fishing without the hassle that usually comes with it, this is a comfortable and welcoming way to spend a winter day outdoors in New Hampshire.
