Get out on Lake Michigan with Captain Dan for a 6-hour trolling trip targeting some of the Great Lakes’ most sought-after fish. These trips focus primarily on Chinook (King) Salmon and Coho Salmon, with peak action typically running from mid-summer into early fall when big fish move through the area in strong numbers.

Fishing on Lake Michigan offers a combination of fast-paced action, hard-fighting fish, and beautiful open-water scenery. Whether you’re an experienced angler chasing trophy Kings or trying Great Lakes salmon fishing for the first time, Captain Dan works hard to create a productive and enjoyable day on the water.

You’ll fish aboard a fully rigged Nitro ZV21 powered by a 350HP Mercury engine, allowing quick runs to productive water while providing a smooth and comfortable ride for up to 5 anglers. The boat is equipped with modern electronics and tournament-grade fishing equipment designed specifically for Great Lakes trolling.

Throughout the trip, Captain Dan uses his decades of local knowledge and tournament experience to stay dialed in on seasonal fish movement, bait patterns, and productive trolling setups. Depending on conditions, you may also encounter additional species while covering offshore water.

All rods, reels, tackle, and fishing equipment are included, and your catch will be cleaned and filleted at the end of the trip so it’s ready to take home.

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
