This 5-hour catch-and-release adventure is perfect for anglers who love the excitement of the fight and the satisfaction of watching their fish swim away. Departing from San Francisco's Hyde Street Harbor aboard a comfortable 28' Shamrock pilothouse, you'll spend the day exploring productive waters throughout San Francisco Bay and nearby coastal areas in search of Striped Bass, Halibut, Rockfish, Leopard Sharks, Rays, and other seasonal species.

Captain Molly tailors each trip to current conditions, giving you the best opportunity to stay on active fish while enjoying some of the most scenic waterways in California. Whether you're a seasoned angler or introducing the family to fishing for the first time, this trip focuses on fun, learning, and memorable catches rather than filling a cooler.

Your trip includes all rods, reels, tackle, bait, snacks, water, and Gatorade. The boat features a heated and air-conditioned cabin, private marine restroom, and plenty of comfortable seating. Just bring your fishing license if you're 16 or older, weather-appropriate clothing, and a sense of adventure.

Captain Molly is a San Francisco native, one of the Bay's few female USCG-licensed captains, and someone who genuinely loves sharing her home waters with others. Whether she's helping a first-time angler catch their very first fish or guiding experienced fishermen to productive spots around the Bay, her focus is always on creating a fun, comfortable, and memorable experience.

Fishing aboard her 28' Shamrock pilothouse means enjoying one of the most comfortable rides on the Bay. The boat features a heated and air-conditioned cabin, private marine restroom, modern electronics, and all the safety equipment needed for a worry-free day on the water. Families, children, and groups of friends are especially welcome, and Molly takes pride in tailoring each trip to the people on board.

Every charter includes quality rods, reels, tackle, bait, snacks, drinks, and fish cleaning. Alongside her experienced crew, Captain Molly works hard to make every trip enjoyable, whether you're chasing salmon offshore, hunting trophy lingcod around the Farallons, or simply spending a relaxing day fishing the beautiful waters of San Francisco Bay.

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 7 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 7 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a QR Code boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!

In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
