About Your Trip

Whether you're looking for a quick trip on the water or a full day chasing trophy trout, Joe offers both half-day (morning or afternoon) and full-day adventures on Arkansas' legendary White River. These trips are designed for anglers of all experience levels, from first-timers learning the basics to seasoned fishermen looking to fine-tune their skills.

You'll fish aboard Joe's custom 25-foot river sled, built specifically for navigating the White River in comfort. With over 15
years of experience fishing these waters, Joe knows how changing river conditions, seasonal patterns, and trout behavior affect the bite, adjusting locations and techniques throughout the day to give you the best opportunity for success.

Depending on the conditions, you'll target:

Rainbow Trout
Brown Trout
Brook Trout
Cutthroat Trout

The White River offers a variety of productive fishing opportunities, and Joe tailors each trip to the day's conditions and your experience level. You may drift bait through productive runs, cast inline spinners or artificial lures, or break out the fly rods to fish nymphs, streamers, or dry flies. Whether your goal is catching your first trout or searching for a trophy brown, Joe is happy to customize the experience around what you want to accomplish.

All rods, reels, bait, tackle, and fishing equipment are provided, along with complimentary pickup within 25 miles of Cotter, Arkansas. Just bring a valid Arkansas fishing license, weather-appropriate clothing, food and drinks, and you're ready for a great day on the river.

The half-day trip is a great option for families, travelers, or anyone looking to enjoy a few productive hours on the water, while the full-day trip allows more time to cover additional stretches of river, try multiple techniques, and make the most of changing conditions throughout the day.

No matter which trip you choose, you'll enjoy a relaxed, personalized experience with one of the White River's most experienced local anglers while exploring one of the premier trout fisheries in the country.
