Experience one of New York's premier Finger Lakes aboard a full-day charter on beautiful Cayuga Lake. Known for its deep, cold water and outstanding trout and salmon fishery, Cayuga offers excellent action throughout the season with opportunities to target multiple species in a single trip.

Your day is led by full-time USCG Master Captain Joe, who specializes in Cayuga Lake and fishes its waters year-round. Depending on the conditions and your group's goals, you'll target Lake Trout, Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, and Atlantic Salmon using a combination of trolling and vertical jigging. Unlike many boats on the lake, Joe's setup comfortably accommodates up to four anglers for either technique, giving you the flexibility to fish the way you prefer.

Fishing takes place aboard a 2021 StarCraft Fishmaster 196, a spacious deep-V aluminum boat equipped with the latest electronics and a Minn Kota Spot-Lock trolling motor. Whether you're holding precisely over productive structure to jig or maintaining the perfect trolling course, the boat is designed to maximize both comfort and efficiency throughout the day.

Every trip is tailored to the conditions and the species you'd most like to target, so be sure to let Joe know your priorities before heading out. While Lake Trout are available throughout much of the season, late spring and summer often produce outstanding mixed-bag fishing with Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, and Atlantic Salmon all in the mix.

Your six-hour charter includes all rods, reels, tackle, and fishing equipment. Just bring your valid New York fishing license, weather-appropriate clothing, and your favorite snacks and drinks. Legal catches are yours to keep, making this a great opportunity to enjoy both an exciting day on the water and fresh fish for the table afterward.

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
